How to play
Three moves to learn. Plenty to master.
Only one answer is showing when a level starts. The rest are hidden in the stack and only line up once you clear the right tiles in the right order.
Smash the tiles
Found words shatter with the tool of your tile style: an ice pick, a wood axe, a lightning storm, a rolling pin or a candy wand.
Let it drop
Letters above fall into place and empty columns slide together. New words appear. Clear every hidden word to finish the level.
Levels
Starts with CAT. Ends somewhere much harder.
Word Drop ships with more than 1,400 levels, all playable offline. The difficulty curve is tuned so new players never hit a wall and word lovers still find a real challenge later on.

Themes any kid knows, like fruit, colors and pets. Boards grow from 3 words up to 8, and words up to 7 letters.
Thinking ahead
Longer words stacked on top of each other. Clearing in the wrong order buries the next answer, so plan your moves.

You play one level with each style for free. After that, collect the ones you like with coins you earn in the game and switch any time from the Style Shop.

Unlock new backgrounds as you progress: tropical islands, cherry blossoms, aurora skies, and festive scenes for Halloween, Christmas, Lunar New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival. Many come with live effects like falling petals, snow and fireflies.

Global leaderboard
Sign in with Google or Apple to put your name and avatar on the board. The top three stand on the podium with gold, silver and bronze frames.
Seasons & trophies
Spring, Summer, Harvest and Winter. Clear 15, 40 and 80 levels in a season for bronze, silver and gold trophies, and win that season's avatar frame.
Badges & profile
13 badges across Sense, Power, Passion and Honor, each with three tiers. Show them off with your nickname, avatar and frame.

Is Word Drop free?
Yes. The whole game is free to play and supported by ads. You can optionally buy coins, remove ads, or subscribe to Premium.
Can I play offline?
Yes. All levels are built into the app. You only need a connection for the leaderboard, cloud save, ads and purchases.
How do I keep my progress on a new phone?
Sign in with Google or Apple from Settings. Your level, coins and collection are saved to the cloud and restored when you sign in on another device.
What does Premium include?
Premium removes ads and gives you 100 coins, 1 Hint and 1 Shuffle every day. It is a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
I bought Remove Ads. How do I restore it?
Open Settings (the gear on the Home screen) and tap Restore Purchases, using the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with.
How do I delete my account?
In the game, open Settings and tap Account Deletion at the bottom. You can also email us. See the full steps.
